Poor Ian was a tad cranky to start with, but once we introduced him to the joy of throwing rocks in the creek and the playground he was a happy camper. His cousin was happy just to go along with it all.
All parents think that their children are the worst behaved and the most uncooperative when it comes to getting their photo taken. Trust me, they're not. They are just kids doing what kids do. The more you try to force the issue the worse it gets. Ian's Mum is a pro and she just rolled with the punches so that we ended up with some absolutely lovely shots. I wish I could remember my own advice when I am taking photos of my own Monsters...
It will only be a few years and these two will be road tripping to college - Bye Mum!
I love this! He looks like he's about to say, "Dude we are totally out of gas!" or "We are so lost!" and she is relaxed, "It's all good - we've got snacks!"
